Listen, we love our wine and a trip to Door County isn't complete without a trip or trips to their ten wineries.
Each provides their visitors something different and unique. Sure, we have our favorites, but we'll break down each of the four we visited during our fall trip to Door County.
I love a sweet wine. Like really obsessively love sweets. It's probably why I tend to drink them way too fast. Tanya loves a good Pino. I tried to step outside of my comfort zone on our trip.

Door 44:
Door 44 is a must stop. It's our absolute favorite to visit. It's easy to get to in Stugeon Bay and offers plenty of amazing wines for every taste. We got the $10 flight.

Door Peninsula:
Door Peninsula is busy. With a retail shop filled with infused oils, jelly, dips, an assortment of cheeses, combined with the wine and a distillery, Door Peninsula has something for everyone. Samples are available at the main counter. The vibe is more of a stop and shop then that of a sip and chill.
After your done shopping, head to the distillery for a little harder drink.

Harbor Ridge:
Located in Egg Harbor, Harbor Ridge is a quaint spot to pick up a flight or enjoy a glass or bottle. From dry to semi-sweet to sweet, you'll find exactly what you are looking for. The outside seating area was a perfect way for us to enjoy the fall weather.

Simon Creek:
Tucked in Sturgeon Bay, Simon Creek Vineyard and Winery is a hidden gem. It was so worth the stop. The vibe is chill, the wines were on the dry side (again, this coming from a sweet wine guy), but their cherry wine was my favorite of the whole weekend which was a shock to all those who know me. The staff was super friendly and made our stop amazing. We'll be back for sure!
