We're into a new week and looking at one of the all time greats Derek Jeter!

I'll be honest. I completely missed out on the Derek Jeter card cycle while he was playing. Loved watching Captain Cool play, but was out of the card game. With that said, I wanted to look into his earlier stuff and there are gems to be had in the Jeter universe.

Derek Jeter - 1993 Bowman RC #511

Love this card for multiple reasons. It's his rookie card and is attainable selling raw for around $15, Finding a 10 in a raw-to-grade play will be tricky so make sure it passes the eye test as there are only 928 - 10's but plenty of 9's! You don't have a long runway for profit either. 10's will fetch $525ish and 9's drop to $48 so you'll teeter on the break-even point depending on how much you spent on the raw card.

I'm big on Metal cards and this Jeter is no exception. Scoop it raw for $5 and send to PSA (or your favorite grading service). 10's are tough but 9's are selling for just under $100 so you can make some money.

Finally, another rookie with big upside in a raw-to-grade flip play. Raw, this card is selling for $32+. As is the case with the other Jeter's, 9's seem to be the call to order. If you happen into a 10, you'll see just under $2,000 with a pop of 448. There are over 5,000 PSA 9's in existence which will go for just over $100.
