No one player's eco-system is built like Shohei Ohtani. Upon his arrival in 2018, Shohei hooked a rocket to his back and hasn't looked back. Whether on the mound or at the plate. Whether an Angel or a Dodger, this do it all superstar is without a doubt a generational talent. Today, we dive head first into his card universe.

There are plenty of rookie card options available for Shohei. I picked this one because of its high gem rate (over 15,000 PSA 10's). This is the perfect raw-to-grade flip. You'll spend over $500 raw, but 10's run for $1,000+. Again, a higher investment up front, but big time upside post-grade. You don't have a long runway however. A PSA 9 sells for around $450.

This card hit me in all the feels! As a child the 1987 Topps set was epic! This variation in 2022 is fire! Scoop this card raw for $15 and send it to PSA to grade it. You'll sell it for $137.50 if it mints. A PSA 9 and you are breaking even.

There are so many Ohtani cards that in my brain look great in a slab. This is one of those for me, I scooped one and it is sitting at PSA I picked mine up for for $6.78 all in (card, taxes). I can't wait to get mine back. This isn't a big flip play, but a 10 will get $85 and a 9 $70 so I'll make money on this flip and the card is going to look sweet in someone's collection!
