We woke up early on our final day as we navigated back into Seattle. Our disembark time was 9:00 am so we headed to breakfast with our bags in tow. What an amazing week at sea. At breakfast, we med Dennis Boyd, a retired gentleman from Georgia. One of the most amazing parts of this life are getting to meet the most interesting people along the way. Sometimes they just have a tremendous impact on you just by being them. That was Dennis. He weaved stories together like few we've ever met and after two hours (which felt like five minutes) it was time to go. We were so locked into his story telling that we never heard him paged over the intercom. We found out later that Dennis had a traumatic brain injury and that his party was searching for him. He was supposed to leave the ship an hour earlier. I'm glad he didn't. It was the best end to the cruise. Into the Puget Sound: I had never been to Seattle but Tanya had. The city is magnificent! The restaurants along Waterfront Park were amazing and the views, breathtaking. We navigated to world famous Pike Place Market which includes Pike Place Fish Market. I had only seen the fish market in a teamwork training video that I had used once upon a time when I was a trainer at an insurance company. I had goosebumps. The fish were flying and it was truly something to see.

We also saw the gum wall which is a hidden work of art. Tanya had seen it before and got us right to it. It was grossly impressive! We also ate lunch at The Crab pot and grabbed coffee at the first Starbucks location. Tired after a fun day in the Puget Sound, we headed to the airport for our flight home.
